buggin’ out

This summer marked the first that we allowed T to stay up past her bedtime ONLY for the fun of catching lightning bugs.

She’s caught them in the past, of course – but always as an added bonus to something we’re already staying out late for . . . never just because.

She loves her little buggy buddies, and has quickly become an expert firefly wrangler. It’s almost as if they WANT her to nab them!

But then. . . who wouldn’t want to be captured by someone as adorable as she?!!

    That is so cute!! Do you scrapbook? You’re so crafty, I would imagine you do… because these are terrific memories captured in time and you’re so good at it!

      I try to! Over the winter my mom, aunt, and I got together a few times a month at NOT my house to do it, but since spring hit, we haven’t had the time. . . THIS is my scrapbook! Hopefully we can pick it up again when the weather cools. I really liked it, and I’ll NEVER catch up at this rate!

    Nola has the same bug holder. We did lighting bugs too. But not as fun as your “just because” adventure! FUN!!!
