Looks like fun. Now I know why my daughter made a lantern in school last week. I was like, huh?

OH! NOW I understand why my work neighbor smelled so much of oranges the other day! And yes, she’s Chinese. But she doesn’t talk to me so I didn’t know. Cool.
Your girls are as beautiful as ever, and I think that outfit kinda fits the celebration. It kinda looks like a karate outfit on the side!

Seriously, you are the crafty-est momma ever! Where does your energy come from? I try, I really do! I also babysit three other kiddos in addition to Andrew and somedays, we are lucky to make it through the day!!
Love all the ideas!! and that is a darling outfit! and just when did Rowen get so big??

I’m still trying to figure out when Ro got so big myself! I can’t believe she’s almost two already!!!
As for the rest, THIS was a party day… I try to have a fun party day once a month or so. Party days are awesome for the kiddos, a super-fun day in which we break from our usual routine. But they pretty much KILL me, cuz’ I get NO down time at all on party days – but we don’t do all this EVERY day! We try to have an arts and crafts day once a week with everyone, because with five under five, that’s really about all I can handle anymore – the cleanup is impossible! My own kids do a bit more crafting on our off days. It’s way easier with only one tiny one, T’s big enough at this point to clean up after herself more or less. Also, MY girls did the paper lanterns on the day before Chinese New Year – so it was just my two for that one 🙂

Ro is not a baby!!!! Aaaaah, when, where, and how did she grow up? I feel like I’m in a time warp seeing her in this dear little Chinese outfit; seriously, she’s more mature than I remember. I admire your dragons, they are woooonderful.

How in the world have I missed postings?!
Anyway, I wanted to point out that our now…ahem…2 year olds were born in the Golden Pig year. It is something very special I have been told. They are supposed to be very lucky in life and such.
Great pictures and crafts as always!
