Girls will be girls. . .

That’s what little girls are made of.”

Oh my… yes, this is my favorite this week as well!! We have those tights (I believe) buried deep in the tights drawer! A picture to be treasured for sure!(Not Sawyer’s first sleepover, but probably only his second! I am still not used to it!)

OMG! So many things in this photo are familiar. Can you believe that I actually wore that blue tiara-like hat when I was the flower girl in a wedding in the 60’s? You do remember that red sequin band from your childhood, don’t you. Oh, what fun, then and now.

Zia C, you have NO idea how happy it makes me to see and read your comments!
YES! I love it when she plays dress up just because it’s cute as can be, but I ALSO love it because I remember playing with a lot of the same stuff when I was a kid. And I remember my sis playing with the same stuff. And your kids. . . It’s really amazing, when you think about how long some of these same pieces have been around. Of course she adds new stuff to the pile all the time, but that’s what dress-up boxes are all about!
And you know what else I love about her dress-up box? The fact that YOU gave it to her! This is prolly the best gift we’ve ever received, and I thank you for it from the bottom of my heart. T does too, I’m sure!
