prayers and wishes
“I have looked into your eyes with my eyes. I have put my heart near your heart.”
– Pope John XXIII
Please take a moment from your day to say a prayer for our little day friend, Alex, who is going to have a procedure done bright and early tomorrow morning to unclog her tiny tear ducts. Join me in sending our support to her and her family with prayers and wishes for an uncomplicated surgery, and a super fast recovery time!
Thank you!
You can see the full story (of her life and her tear ducts) *here* on her mommy’s blog.
**UPDATE**
Alex’s mom reports that she did GREAT and is home and recovering perfectly! Thank you all for keeping her in your thoughts, and thank God that all went well!

Poor Alex! The good thing about surgeries is you get lots of balloons & attention!

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. It DID go very well. She was a bit cranky waking up and going down scared the bejesus out of me but it went super. She shoudl be back to herself by tomorrow.
Thank you again for all of the prayers, we all certainly needed them.

I’m so happy that’s done and finished with! Thank God everything went so well. Alex is such a brave little ladybug! *luffs* I can only imagine how unsettling it must have been for you to watch your baby girl be put to sleep like that. I’m thankful that I’ve never been in that situation, and pray that neither of us ever have to be again!

Glad Alex’s procedure went well. She, and her family, are lucky to have you.
Do you charge extra for taking FABULOUS portraits of the kids?

oh, I can’t tell you how upset I am to have missed this.
I think because I’ve been playing with my blog design a bit it has mixed up the rolling up to the top of the blogroll.
I’m glad to hear that all went well.
thinking of you with all of this weather… snow forts? Not sure where you live, but hope you stay safe and warm
