bad hair day

Recently, T’s obsession with braids has shifted slightly. . .
She still loves her braids, but she’s become quite a fan of what happens after they come out, too.
She calls it her ‘crazy hair,’ and will even give up story time to have braids put in before bed. So she can look like a nut come morning.
It makes her feel a little bit wild, having her crazy hair. A smidgen sillier than usual. . . and she’s convinced that it helps her jump really high.
And then she asks me if I’ll take her picture. . .
Well, of course, my darling!

ahhhh the braids. i think that’s the only thing my mom knew how to do. i always had braids or hair-after-braids.
but then the 80s tried to copy us with the crimper. didn’t work so well.

to this day, i’ll still braid my hair wet just to have that look, but you know i’m sometimes in a time warp! i love her hair that way or any way she wears it, the little fashionista!!!!
