T: *jumps on couch*
Me: SIT DOWN!
T: *sulks*
Me: Are you supposed to be jumping on the couch?
T: Nope.
Me: Then why are you jumping on it?
T: *continues to sulk*
Me: Do you remember why you’re not to jump on couches?
*hopes T will mention falling off of one the day before*
T: Yes.
Me: Why? Why don’t we jump on couches?
T: Because of the fairies.
Me: . . .
And again. . .
Me and T are playing with My Little Ponies. . .
T: This one is a UNICORN!
Me: Yes! And this one is a Pegasus!
T: . . . Pegisssissss?
Me: Yup! If you ever see a pony or a horse and it has wings, and it can fly, its called a Pegasus.
T: THATS IMPOSSIBLE!

I love that last picture. She really looks like she’s thinking, “Mom! You’re such a dork…horses don’t fly. Yeesh!”
